The Viral Video Regarding The Thai and Filipino Transgender In Bangkook

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), said that a Filipino bystander suffered serious injuries after being “attacked” in Bangkok by a Thai group of transgenders involved in a fight with a Filipino group.

In a report dated March 5, the Philippine Embassy in Thailand reported that four Filipinos had been injured in the Monday night clash in Soi Sukhumvit 11.

DFA Undersecretary Eduardo Jose de Vega stated that the first three OFs, identified as “John Christian and Andre”, suffered scratches and were allegedly involved in the argument.

“The fourth OF, Jaymar, or Ivy, sustained the most injuries to the face and head. She was not familiar with the 3. He was a hotel guest in the same building as the 3. “He was a bystander when the mob of Thai girl boys ‘attacked him’ at the scene,” he said.

De Vega stated that the four were brought into the station to be questioned. He added that a hearing will also be held on March 8.

De Vega stated that statements would be verified via CCTV videos.

The brawl became viral on social media and prompted more Thai trans women to gather at the scene in response to the attack.

Local reports citing a Thai transgender group claimed that they were walking by their Filipino counterparts when the latter began stomping on them and hurling insults at them. They then tried to push the Thai group away.

The fight started at 10 pm when the police escorted the two Filipinos from the hotel. Several Thai LGBTQ (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, queer) began to hit them.

The second incident occurred when the Thais outnumbered the law enforcement officers who were escorting them. – PNA
