ADVISORY : AVAILABILITY OF NEW PASSPORTS AT THE EMBASSY

ENGLISH

The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait informs the Filipino community that due to disruptions in the delivery of passports by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) following the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon, there may be delays in the availability of some new passports at the Embassy that are scheduled to be released from March 2020 onwards.

Not all new passports with releasing dates from March 2020 onwards are affected by the delayed deliveries from the Philippines. So before coming to the Embassy, the public is advised to send an SMS (text) message to the following hotlines of the Embassy’s Consular Section, preferably between 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. from Sundays to Thursdays: +965 6518 4433 and +965 6990 2188

Nevertheless, the public is reminded that the Embassy releases new passports only for emergency cases, particularly those whose passports or residence visas have already expired. Passport claiming for non-emergency cases will return once the official holidays in Kuwait are over.
