Kuwait — Thousands of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Kuwait are set to benefit from a major government outreach initiative as the Philippine Embassy, in partnership with key national agencies, launches the “Bagong Bayani ng Mundo: Serbisyo Caravan” this December.
The three-day caravan aims to bring essential government services closer to Filipinos abroad, ensuring easier access to documentation, social services, membership programs, and welfare assistance.
The event will be held on December 5–6, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Farwaniya, and will continue on December 7, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Philippine Embassy in Sabah Al Salem.
To ensure a smooth flow of services, participants are encouraged to preregister through the official QR code provided by the organizers.

Wide Range of Services Offered
The caravan gathers several frontline Philippine government agencies, each providing specialized support for OFWs:
Philippine Embassy in Kuwait
The Embassy will facilitate consular services, including passport-related processes and legal documentation, alongside Overseas Voting Registration in preparation for upcoming national elections.
Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) / Migrant Workers Office – Kuwait
DMW will conduct contract verification and provide Assistance to Nationals (ATN) services, particularly for workers requiring urgent or ongoing welfare interventions.
Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)
OWWA will process membership collections, issue E-Cards, and accept applications for the Welfare Assistance Program (WAP). Other forms of welfare assistance will also be available on site.
Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)
DSWD will set up an information desk tackling programs and services for OFWs, and will offer psychosocial counselling to individuals seeking mental health or emotional support.
Social Security System (SSS)
SSS representatives will accommodate membership inquiries, assist with pensioner data change requests, facilitate Annual Confirmation of Pensioners, and guide members through online service processes.
Pag-IBIG Fund
Pag-IBIG will handle new member registrations, records and account updates, and MP2 savings enrollments. They will also provide housing loan consultations, explain requirements, and conduct briefings on home matching and public property auctions. Applications for multi-purpose loans will also be accepted.
A One-Stop Government Service Hub for OFWs
The “Bagong Bayani ng Mundo: Serbisyo Caravan” reflects the government’s continuing effort to make frontline services more accessible to Filipinos overseas. By bringing multiple agencies under one roof, the initiative reduces the need for multiple appointments and travel—offering a streamlined, OFW-friendly service experience.
Organizers encourage Filipinos in Kuwait to take advantage of the opportunity, especially those with pending documentation, welfare concerns, or membership updates.
For more information and preregistration, individuals may scan the official QR code or follow announcements from the Embassy and involved agencies.
