Long Weekend : What to do on Eid Holidays? 

Department of Astronomy and Space Science at the Kuwait Science Club announces that next Wednesday, Aug 23, will be the first day of Dhul Hijjah 1438 AH.

Standing on the Mount Arafat then falls on Thursday, Aug 31, and Friday, Sept 1 is the first day of Eid Al-Adha. In a press release, the department said the pairing of the birth of Hilal of Dhul Hijjah will happen at exactly 9:30 pm Kuwait time on Monday.

It will remain until sunset on Tuesday for 34 minutes, and will be easy to sight. -Arab times

According to officeholidays.com below are the dates for this 2017 Holidays , it is not official but most probably the holidays would be as per below schedule:

1 : 31 Aug 2017 Thursday – Waqfat Arafat

2: 1 Sep 2017 Friday – Eid Al Adha

3: 2 Sep 2017 Saturday – 2nd Day of Eid Al Adha

4: 3 Sep 2017 Sunday – 3rd Day of Eid Al Adha

5: 4 Sep 2017 Monday – Instead of Friday
