Also present were Ms. Maria Jesusa B. Viray, President and CEO of Pharmacare Plus, Inc., and Mr. Rubencito Lao, Chief Technical Officer of Eurolink Network International Corporation—partners of the First Lady in making the Lab for All mobile vehicle possible.
Administrator Caunan emphasized that this program reaffirms OWWA’s commitment to the welfare of OFWs, ensuring that “in matters of health, our modern-day heroes and their families are never left behind.”
A Step Towards Accessible Healthcare
The Alagang OWWA: Yakap at Gamot program is a significant step in bridging healthcare gaps for OFWs and their families. By combining mobile laboratory services and free medicine access, the initiative ensures that health services are not only available but also within reach of the communities that need them most.
This effort reflects OWWA’s continuing mission of “Alagang OWWA, Serbisyong May Puso,” providing meaningful support that goes beyond employment assistance and touches the very core of family well-being.
