KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: AFilipino housemaid allegedly jumped to her death from the 17th floor of a residential building in Maidan Hawalli, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The remains of the victim have been referred to Forensics. Police are investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, police are looking for a hit-and-run motorist for running over a 17-year-old boy identified only as Mohammad. M. A, reports Al-Rai daily.The daily added, the victim, who died on the spot, was crossing the road with three other friends. The incident happened on the Arabian Gulf Street. In another incident, a 37-year-old Kuwaiti died on the spot following a traffic accident in Umm Al-Haiman, reports Al- Watan Arabic daily. The victim reportedly lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a lamppost. Another person who was in the passenger seat has been hospitalized.
