A Pinay OFW and her Kuwaiti 3 year-old son were burnt to death in a fire which razed their camp in Julai’a area about 3:00 am today 12th of January 2015.

While she was trying to rescue her son inside the tent, the fire extended to a vehicle parked nearby and plenary investigation indicates it was caused by a candle light.
Firemen appealed Citizens and expatriates to take necessary precautionary measures to prevent fire outbreak , and urged people to use electricity wisely and remove coal from tents before sleeping and to avoid the use of candle and keep some space between each tent to avert fatalities in case fire breaks out.
