Social media sites are a good way to keep in touch with loved ones back home, but they should not be a forum for uploading obscene materials online, or for online debates on political and religious issues in the host country or territory.
These were among the social media etiquette reminders of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) to overseas Filipino workers.
POEA Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac said these tips apply to OFWs using social media services such as Facebook and Twitter.
