Our beloved OFW in the picture( right ) is safe in the Philippines after her rescue on 1 February. Our legal action continues. The other OFW ( left ) has also gone home.
To the rescue team of VC Shiena Tesorero, Mar Hassan and Salah Magayan, she texted:
“Hi mam,
Slmat poh s inyong lhat., dto n poh aq s pilipinas kpling q n poh asawat mga anak q., pgplain poh kau nng dios

UPDATE ON THIS CASE- ” WE STAND TOGETHER”: The OFW (on the right) was rescued today after strong negotiation by VC Shiena Tesorero, with Quick Reaction Team leader Mar Hassan and case officer/ translator Salah Magayan. She will fly out to the Philippines on 2 February after spending one night at the embassy shelter.
The other OFW has already gone
home to the Philippines, because this picture was actually taken six months ago. The OFW rescued now (right) was not able to report the offense, or get a medical exam at that time.
Legal action still follows.The police also warned the employer to beware of embassy and community action in the future.
” WE STAND TOGETHER”- this time against abuse: the community, the embassy, and the police.
