Crackdown Continues 89 people arrested in Hawally

Eighty nine people were arrested during an unscheduled police crackdown carried out in Hawally Governorate yesterday. The detainees include 13 persons arrested for violation of residency law, three people wanted to serve court sentences, 33 for failure to compete visa procedures, 27 for carrying out transactions in violation of the law, two wanted on civil cases, three absconders, and 18 persons who were not carrying IDs. A total of 387 people were inspected during the campaign, which was led by Major General Abdelfattah Al-Ali, the Interior Ministry Assistant’s Undersecretary for General Security Affairs.
