JOB HIRING | Kuwait Airways Needs Filipino Workers

Kuwait Airways seeks to employ 459 Filipinos in line with their expansion plan.

“We are looking for highly skilled people, highly committed and hardworking people,” says the Talent Acquisition Manager of Kuwait Airways Athbi Salah al-Sheeha.

Kuwait Airways Terminal 4 just recently opened. Because of that, they need more ground personnel. As of the moment, there are already 400 Filipino workers working at Kuwait Airways.

“The work here is really good. Aside from working here for 27 years and the blessings and opportunities which was given to me, I was also able to help my child land a job as a flying crew,” says Greg Alcantara, the head waiter.

Some of the jobs that Kuwait Airways will fill are :

  1. traffic officer
  2. assistant traffic officer
  3. assistant load control
  4. assistant cargo officer
  5. cargo operator
  6. cargo coordinator
  7. baggage sorter

Aside from the salary, qualified individuals will also receive food allowance and accommodation. There will also be a free ticket and free transportation at the end of the two-year contract.

As of the moment, this job offer is the largest one since the deployment ban in Kuwait got lifted. This move only portrays the bilateral understanding of two countries, Kuwait and the Philippines.
