PHL Government Announces The Need For eTravel Pass Instead of ONE Health Pass When Traveling To The Philippines

Are you planning to travel back to the Philippines anytime soon? If you do, then you might need the eTravel.

According to the announcement from the government, those who will visit www.onehealthpass.com.ph will get redirected to an eTravel platform– https://etravel.gov.ph/. From this site, they will have to register within 72 hours before their scheduled flight to the Philippines.

Registration thru paper will not be accepted anymore. Therefore, you need to secure your eTravel before your flight.

The aim of this new system is to help obtain a more efficient registration of those entering the country. This will also allow the government to properly obtain important information from travelers.

The public is also reminded that eTravel is free of charge. Therefore, you must be wary of those websites that are asking money for the application of eTravel.

Aside from the eTravel pass, you also need to show your COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Those who are 18 years old and up should have their booster shots or a third dose of vaccine for those 12 years old and up.

If you can present the said documents, you will need to present a negative PCR test which must be taken 48 hours before your scheduled flight. A rapid antigen test is also accepted as long as you took it 24 hours or less before your flight.

A passport with a validity of not less than 6 months is also needed to travel.
