The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) – Regional Office I has activated the DMW Region 1 Help Desk for Requests for Assistance (RFA) to support Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who may be affected by the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, particularly the situation involving Israel and Iran.

The help desk is specifically available for OFWs from Region 1 (Ilocos Region) who are currently working in Middle Eastern countries such as Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Israel.

DMW is encouraging OFWs and their families to remain calm but vigilant and to immediately contact the appropriate offices if they need assistance or have concerns related to the current situation.
