DOHA, April 23, 2026 — Qatar Airways has resumed key regional operations as part of its ongoing efforts to restore its international flight network.
The airline confirmed that daily flights from Doha to the United Arab Emirates have restarted, effective April 23, including services to Dubai International Airport and Sharjah International Airport.
Flights to Syria are also scheduled to resume, with daily service to Damascus International Airport beginning May 1, 2026, the airline said.
The move is part of a broader recovery plan aimed at rebuilding connectivity across the Middle East and beyond.
Qatar Airways added that it plans to expand its global network to more than 150 destinations across six continents starting June 16, 2026, reflecting a gradual return to pre-disruption operations.

The airline urged passengers to update their contact information through its official website or mobile app to receive timely travel updates.
Passengers holding confirmed bookings for travel between February 28 and September 15, 2026, may avail of flexible travel options, including:
- Free changes to travel dates until October 31, 2026, subject to availability and fare differences
- Multiple rebookings without additional fees within the same period
- Refunds for unused ticket portions, with processing times of up to 28 days
Qatar Airways noted that flight schedules remain subject to change or cancellation due to operational, regulatory, or safety considerations.
