Bangladeshi arrested for bribing Kuwaiti secretary to release 3 Filipinas

Kuwaiti police have arrested an unidentified Bangladeshi on October 29 for trying to inducing the Director of Security of the Jahra Police Station, reports daily newspaper Al Rai.

The daily newspaper added that the suspect cashed in on the kindness of the official.

The suspect waited until everyone left after work. He moved toward the secretary and asked to have the secretary release three Filipino women.

The three Filipino women have been taken into custody for violating the residence law.

The suspect allegedly offered KD 1,500 to KD 500 for each woman.

The secretary pretended to accept the offer. Then he informed authorities and caught the suspect red-handed.
