UPDATED: May 3, 2020 The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait is currently looking for the whereabouts of these 32 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). According to reports, they ran away from the household of their employers for an unknown reason.
OFW MARY ROSE TIPO PALAPAL ran away from her employer since the 26th of December, 2019. She arrived in Kuwait last July 19, 2019, under Dalal Salem Al-Shammari Office for Manpower Recruitment as the recruitment agency. She was working as a domestic helper. Palapal’s whereabouts are unknown and her recruitment agency is greatly worried about her condition in a foreign land.
Another OFW identified as MARLYN LEYNO BERNARDO, also ran away from her employer since November last year. She arrived in Kuwait last August 28, 2018, and worked as a domestic helper. Just like Palapal, Bernardo’s whereabouts are also unknown. Her recruitment agency is Al Mutawa House Servants Recruitment Establishment.
OFW MAIRA SAIDONA BALAD also reportedly ran away from her employer since March 4, 2020. She is under Al-Nokhbah Company for the Recruitment of Domestic Manpower. She arrived in Kuwait on February 6, 2019, and worked as a domestic helper.
The latest missing OFW is EMETILYN NERVAR FERRER, under the recruitment agency Amal Mahmoud Al-Qattan Office – Manpower Recruitment. She arrived in Kuwait on October 19, 2019, and ran away from her employer on March 6, 2020. She works as a domestic helper.
