Philippine Airlines relaunches Manila-Kuwait direct flights

Philippine Airlines, the flag carrier of the Philippines, will relaunch direct flights between Kuwait and Manila starting January 18.

Orty Liscano, Area Manager Kuwait, said PAL stopped the route before, but they are now ready to serve Filipinos who desire to go to Kuwait. He urged travel agency and media representatives to spread the news and awareness of the entry of the flag carrier and its offerings.

PAL will be partnering with Al-Sawan Company for Kuwait operations. It has assured its full support and cooperation to the traveling public and passengers.

PAL and Al-Sawan made the announcement at a launch event at Holiday Inn Downtown.

Flight reservations may be made online or through travel offices in Kuwait.

Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait Renato Pedro Villa said they welcome this new development, especially for fellow Filipinos who now have several options for their travel plans to Manila. He also hopes this will boost both economic relations and tourism for the two countries.

The flights will be every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
