Farwaniya, Kuwait – A retired Kuwaiti citizen has filed a theft complaint against his Asian domestic worker, who allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash and valuable gold jewelry from his residence.
According to the report filed at the Farwaniya police station, the incident occurred while the man was away from home. Upon his return, he discovered that his bedroom—previously locked—had been broken into. The maid, who had been employed in the household for several months, was nowhere to be found.
Authorities have registered a formal case of theft and launched an investigation to track down the suspect. Efforts are currently underway to locate the domestic worker and recover the stolen items.
Police have not yet disclosed the estimated value of the missing assets, and the motive behind the alleged theft remains under investigation.
