Kuwait Airways to Resume Flights to 17 Destinations via Terminal 4 Starting April 26

KUWAIT, April 24 — Kuwait Airways has announced the resumption of flights to 17 international destinations from Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 4 (T4), starting Sunday, April 26, as part of a phased return to full operations.

Acting Chief Executive Officer Abdulwahab Al-Shatti confirmed that the destinations include London, Istanbul, Lahore, Dhaka, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Manila, Cairo, Riyadh, Jeddah, Colombo, Guangzhou, Beirut, and Damascus.

According to Al-Shatti, flight frequencies will vary by destination. Services to London, Riyadh, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, and Manila will operate three times per week. Meanwhile, Cairo will have daily flights.

Flights to Jeddah and Dhaka are scheduled four times weekly, while Beirut, Damascus, and Lahore will operate twice a week. Istanbul, Guangzhou, and Colombo will each be served once weekly.

The airline stated that the move is part of ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the level of services offered to passengers. Kuwait Airways emphasized its commitment to providing a seamless travel experience, highlighting improvements in comfort and integrated services at Terminal 4.

Al-Shatti also reaffirmed the airline’s dedication to delivering a high-quality travel experience that meets passenger expectations and strengthens confidence in its services.

He extended his appreciation to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), led by Sheikh Eng. Humoud Mubarak Humoud Al-Sabah, for their continued support and coordination in ensuring the continuity of air services amid recent challenges.

Earlier on Thursday, the DGCA announced the reopening of Kuwait International Airport’s airspace following a temporary suspension of flight operations since February 28 due to regional developments.

The resumption marks a significant step toward the gradual normalization of air travel operations in Kuwait. Via (KUNA)
