MANILA, Philippines – June 24, 2026 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced that beginning June 25, 2026, eligible Filipino passport holders traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can avail of a visa-on-arrival facility.

Under the new policy, Filipino citizens holding a valid Philippine passport and a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card issued by any of the following countries may qualify for a UAE visa-on-arrival:

  • United States of America
  • European Union member states
  • Australia
  • Japan
  • Singapore
  • Republic of Korea
  • Canada
  • New Zealand

Eligible travelers may choose from the following visa-on-arrival options:

Duration of Stay Fee
14 Days AED 100
60 Days AED 250

The 14-day visa may be extended once for an additional 14 days at a fee of AED 250, while the 60-day visa is not extendable.

According to the DFA, the visa-on-arrival privilege granted by the UAE reflects the strong and growing bilateral relations between the Philippines and the UAE. The new arrangement is expected to provide greater convenience for Filipino travelers visiting the Emirates for tourism, business, and family-related purposes.

The DFA advises travelers to ensure that their supporting visas, residence permits, or Green Cards remain valid before departure and to comply with all UAE immigration requirements.

This development marks another positive step in enhancing travel opportunities and strengthening people-to-people ties between the Philippines and the UAE.
