Filipina Taken to ‘PAM’ Shelter Dies in Hospital

A Filipino worker reportedly died inside the Expatriate Labor Shelter of the Public Authority for Manpower in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Jarida Daily. The daily quoting PAM sources said the deceased, believed to be a domestic worker was taken to the shelter by the Philippine embassy in Kuwait last Thursday, June 22, but upon arrival, she fainted and was rushed to the Farwaniya

Hospital by ambulance. Upon arrival at the hospital she was taken to the ‘recovery’ room to revive her, but the medical staff failed to bring her back to life. Her death has been registered as a ‘natural death’, according to the testimony of the attending physician.
