On the Car-Ramming Incident at NAIA Terminal 1

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) expresses its deepest sorrow and grief for the Europe-bound OFW whose four-year-old daughter tragically died in the car-ramming incident at NAIA Terminal 1 yesterday morning.

We offer our fervent prayers for the quick recovery of his wife, who is in critical condition, and extend healing wishes to all others injured — including the OFW’s mother, now in stable condition.

Under the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the DMW and OWWA, in coordination with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and New NAIA Infra Corporation (NNIC), are providing all necessary assistance and support to the affected family.

We also pledge to assist the OFW in communicating with his overseas employer regarding his sudden absence from work due to this tragedy.

Lastly, the Department strongly joins the family in calling for justice, and urges authorities to bring the perpetrator of this tragic incident to account.
