According to the Ministry of Interior, the incident began after the operations room received a report that an unidentified individual had robbed a money exchange company branch in Al-Shaab. Security authorities immediately responded to the scene and launched an intensive investigation.
Investigators revealed that the suspect was wearing a mask and carrying a weapon that was later discovered to be fake. Authorities also said the suspect possessed a container believed to contain gasoline, which he allegedly used to threaten employees during the robbery.
