The post of the 49-year-old OFW became viral on Facebook after it was shared more than 10 thousand times. Jessielyn Espanola was asking for help as his body was covered with bruises after her ward, the child of her employer, beat her.

According to Espanola, she served the family for 11 long years and never thought that something this horrible could happen on her.

Espanola said that the child of her employer beat her because of a missing necklace last June 14.

Thankfully, through the help of the Kuwaiti authorities and Philippine Embassy, the Filipina was rescued from her employer’s house last June 17.

The Philippine Embassy already gave a lawyer to Jessielyn and a case was filed against the suspect. The Filipina is crying for justice as she couldn’t believe that the child she took care was the one who will beat her.

The case of Jessielyn is just one of the many cases of bad treatment of employers towards their Filipina domestic helpers in Kuwait. In fact, because of the rising number of abuse, a deployment ban was implemented last year. It was only lifted following the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the two countries.
