Direct Flight Going To Kuwait Could Resume This January

This coming January 2021, direct flights going to Kuwait from 34 previously banned countries could resume.

According to the announcement by the Health authorities in Kuwait, they will strictly assess the return of expats particularly the domestic worker. They will undergo an institutional quarantine in Kuwait.

This decision was made following the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine as well as the management of hotels and institutions as quarantine facility and the civil aviation’s return of flights to other parts of the world.

The Ministry of Health is not waiting for the return trips of foreign domestic workers before they can formally assess the success rate of the resumption of flights.

Moreover, hotels and other travel agencies also appealed to the government to reduce the quarantine period of 14 days to 5-7 days. This is because the incoming passengers already have PCF certificates that they acquired right before they leave their respective countries.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 vaccines are finally introduced to different countries all over the world, particularly in the United States where the virus is prevalent.
